The 20th release in Woodford Reserve’s famous Master’s Collection is a unique experiment. With oversight from Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall, it begins with Woodford Reserve, which experiences a unique finishing process in Madeira casks before being blended with wheat whiskey. The result is a fruit-forward spirit with spice and nutty flavors from the Maderia barrels that once held fortified wine and floral notes from the wheat whiskey addition.
