The televisions of 1983 weren’t the thin 4K widescreens of today — they were thick, heavy, and the screens were squarish (4:3 if we’re being precise). It’s those screens that gave the case of this vintage Timex model the nickname “TV Dial”. Reimagined for the modern day, it retains its small stainless steel case, paired with a silver-tone dial, polished indices and hands, and a matching flexible Perfect Fit band. Powered by a dependable Japanese automatic movement, it has a period-correct acrylic crystal, a date window at 3 o’clock, and alternating polished and brushed finishes.
